The Football Association is seeking a skilled Content Analyst to join their team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. As a key player in their digital content strategy, you'll be responsible for analyzing and reporting on the performance of The FA's content output across various platforms.

As a valued member of the team, your primary responsibilities will include:

Analyzing Performance

  • Delve into data to analyze the performance of The FA's digital content output, comparing it to overall objectives and content team strategy.
  • Drive business-wide awareness and understanding of content team strategy, output, and performance by producing regular reports.

Reporting Insights

  • Create a cadence of content and channel reports, covering key activation moments (e.g., England camps/tournaments, FA Cup rounds, commercial campaigns) as well as periodical reports (i.e., weekly, monthly, annual).
  • Collaborate with Content Managers to apply insights to reports, ensuring performance data is married with context to provide a holistic view of content effectiveness.

Leveraging Tools and Services

  • Partner with the content team's operations unit to select, implement, and manage necessary tools and services to optimize content analysis process.
  • Support the Head of Content with internal communications around content and channel performance.

What We're Looking For

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Unparalleled understanding of measuring digital content performance on owned (web and app) and operated (social media) platforms.
  • Deep knowledge of key digital metrics, including reach, engagement, conversion, and monetization.
  • Experience using digital content analysis tools (e.g., Blinkfire, Hootsuite, or Emplifi).
  • High-level numeracy skills.
