The Role
We're seeking an experienced MerchOps Experimentation Senior Associate to partner with our MerchOps Director and drive the growth of our merchandising experimentation program. This role is crucial in shaping how customers experience our sportsbook by running structured experiments that drive personalization, UX improvements, and commercial outcomes. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Risk & Trading, Tech, Commercial, and UX Analytics to prioritize, build, QA, monitor, and analyze experiments.
As a key member of the MerchOps team, you'll be responsible for maintaining high visibility into the experimentation pipeline and backlog, ensuring proper test design, and turning results into clear, actionable insights. The Game Plan

- Partner with the MerchOps Director to refine, prioritize, and maintain the testing roadmap
- Manage the flow of ideas from stakeholders, confirming feasibility and fit within experimentation windows
- Work cross-functionally with UXA, Product, Risk & Trading, Commercial, and Tech to design sound experiments that balance user value with commercial outcomes
- Set up and launch tests in FanDuel's CMS & Analytics platform, ensuring Merch Ops QA coverage before launch
- Monitor ongoing experiments to confirm they're tracking correctly and make adjustments as needed
The Stats
We're looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in analytical roles, ideally within digital marketplaces, ecommerce, or sports betting. You should have:
- A minimum of 3+ years of experience in an analytical position
- Experience with Amplitude Analytics is highly preferred
- Excellent understanding of A/B testing methodology and metrics-based decision making
- Strong grasp of product metrics and latest techniques in measuring user experience and commercial performance
- Comfort with CMS, feature flagging, and analytical tools like Amplitude, Tableau, Confluence, JIRA
- Proven ability to partner across multiple functions, influence without authority, and drive alignment
