Apple has just launched Apple Business Connect, a free tool that empowers businesses of all sizes to take control of their digital presence across various Apple apps. This innovative platform allows entrepreneurs and business owners to claim their location place cards, customize key information, and connect with over a billion Apple users worldwide.
"We created Business Connect to provide Apple users with the most accurate information for places to eat, shop, travel, and more," said Eddy Cue, Apple's senior vice president of Services. "Our goal is to give every business owner the tools they need to engage with customers more directly and take control over how billions of people see and interact with their products and services daily." With Business Connect, small businesses can now directly manage their information in interactive Apple Maps place cards, including adding and updating photos and logos.
One of the key features of Apple Business Connect is the ability to showcase special promotions, seasonal menu items, product discounts, and more. This allows businesses to entice customers with exclusive offers, driving sales and increasing brand awareness. Additionally, businesses can highlight actions for customers to take directly from Maps, such as ordering groceries, making a hotel reservation, or reserving a spot for dinner.
To get started, business owners can register for Apple Business Connect using their existing Apple ID or create a new one. Once registered, they can claim their location(s) and begin updating and personalizing their place card, all at no cost. For businesses with multiple locations, the Business Connect API enables seamless listing management through agencies such as Reputation, Rio SEO, SOCi, Uberall, and Yext.
Apple has designed Business Connect with small businesses in mind, providing them with the same access to customize their digital presence as global brands. This innovative tool complements other Apple services designed to help small businesses grow and reach customers, including Tap to Pay on iPhone and Business Essentials.
