The Opportunity

We're seeking a skilled software engineer to join our remote team in Brazil. As part of our team, you'll be responsible for building and maintaining a comprehensive database of information on our existing and potential partners. This includes discovering and collecting data from various sources and formats (text, photo, video, audio), processing and enriching this data, and transforming it into actionable insights that enhance partner content, user recommendations, business intelligence, and the overall quality of our platform.

Your Impact

As a mid-level backend software engineer, you'll work on projects that involve:

  • Third-Party API Integration: Integrate APIs to provide seamless integration with other software systems
  • Data Processing & Transformation: Process and transform data to create actionable insights
  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Write unit and integration tests to ensure high-quality code
  • API Development and Integration: Design and develop secure, scalable, and performant APIs

You'll also collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers. Your excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail will shine as you work on highly scalable and distributed projects.

Who You Are

To thrive in this role, you should:

  • Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field
  • Possess strong programming language skills (Python, Kotlin, or Go)
  • Have experience with SQL/NoSQL technologies and message queues & async processing
  • Be an excellent communicator and team player
  • Be able to work efficiently on projects with experimental scope
  • Be passionate about building reliable minimum viable products and pilots

Nice-to-have qualifications include:

  • A PhD degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field
  • Proven experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Kubernetes)
