At Kickoff, we're revolutionizing preventative health through our AI-enabled wellness super app and expert human coaching. With over 1000 active coaches and a mission to make life-changing preventative health accessible to all, we're seeking a talented Sr Product Engineer to join our team of 10 FTEs.

The Role

As a Sr Product Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in building the future of personalized wellness. We're not looking for just any engineer – we need someone with experience leveraging the latest cutting-edge AI tools to build delightful software that tackles product and design challenges. You'll be expected to solve ambiguous problems, debug codebases, and evangelize cutting-edge tools across the company.

What You'll Do

As a Sr Product Engineer, you'll use AI tools like Cursor, Windsurf, Lovable, and more to design, build, and ship solutions faster than ever before. You'll leverage these tools not only to build but also debug and improve our codebase over time. Additionally, you'll:

  • Tackle challenging human problems, such as recommending personalized workouts or suggesting meal log feedback for coaches
  • Identify trends in wearable data that impact client sleep, workouts, and mood
  • Collaborate with the team to shape product strategy and user experience
  • Contribute to a tight-knit, in-person team obsessed with driving real impact for our users

What We're Looking For

If you're:

  • Obsessed with fitness, nutrition, and preventative health
  • Intrinsically motivated by the opportunity to help people improve their health
  • A full stack engineer with strong skills
  • Especially skilled in React
  • Have 3+ years of software engineering experience
  • Shipped AI-powered features and know how to test and measure them
  • Experienced in building solutions end-to-end with cutting-edge AI tools (in side projects or your own startup, for example)
  • Product-minded and design-sensitive
  • A startup enthusiast with a low ego, high agency, and big vision
