Job Title: Director of Content Marketing

As the Director of Content Marketing, you'll be responsible for building a high-performing content engine that showcases Samba's unmatched media intelligence, AI-driven insights, and next-generation ad tech products. Your mission will be to shape the stories that define our brand, highlighting our industry-leading TV and digital viewership data, AI/ML innovations, and agentic workflow solutions.

What You'll Do

As a senior leader in swift app development, you'll:

  • Build and lead a high-performing content engine, leveraging Samba's cross-screen media intelligence to drive a focused content strategy aligned with launches, GTM priorities, and audience needs.
  • Produce high-impact, multi-format content (reports, visuals, articles, social, case studies, videos, enablement) that translates complex data and AI/ML concepts into clear, snackable narratives.
  • Create repeatable storytelling frameworks around cross-screen insights, measurement, AI audiences, and ad effectiveness, while collaborating with data science, product, and engineering teams for accuracy and clarity.

Thought Leadership & Brand Storytelling

You'll position Samba as the leader in AI-driven advertising, cross-screen measurement, and the future of streaming by:

  • Partnering with PR/Comms on executive thought leadership, media narratives, and analyst/conference content.
  • Identifying content opportunities from trends, competition, customer insights, and internal innovation.
  • Ensuring narrative consistency across touchpoints and developing strong customer stories that demonstrate ROI.

Social & Distribution

You'll manage and optimize distribution across LinkedIn, X, and other channels by:

  • Leading social strategy to amplify thought leadership and product news.
  • Monitoring engagement and performance to refine content decisions.
  • Collaborating with Digital Marketing to support SEO, SEM, and paid promotion.

Who You Are

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • 7-10+ years of B2B tech content marketing experience, with a focus on ad tech, martech, data platforms, or SaaS.
  • Strong understanding of programmatic advertising, identity, clean rooms, measurement, and attribution.
  • Experience creating content on AI/ML, data science, predictive analytics, and AI-driven marketing.
  • Hands-on use of AI tools (e.g., GPT, Claude, autonomous agents, orchestration frameworks).
  • Exceptional writing/storytelling skills that can simplify technical concepts for varied audiences.

Technical & Tool Proficiency

You'll need proficiency in:

  • AI content tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Jasper, Writer.com).
  • Marketing tech such as HubSpot, Salesforce, GA, SEMrush/Ahrefs.
  • CMS platforms (WordPress, Contentful).
  • Design collaboration tools (Figma, Canva, Adobe).
  • Project management software (Asana, Monday, Jira).

What We Offer

Samba TV offers a competitive base salary between $170,000 – $180,000 per year for roles in New York or California. Our total compensation package includes bonuses, short-term incentives, and long-term incentives, as well as comprehensive benefits like health insurance, wellness offerings, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO).
