As the Arizona Cardinals Football Club continues to grow and innovate, they're seeking a motivated and experienced Director of Cloud and Systems Engineering to join their dynamic technical team. This pivotal role will be responsible for planning and managing enterprise systems, including cloud applications, integrations, and on-premises server integrations.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will bring strong technology collaboration, development, migration, and integration experience to the table. As part of a multifunctional technical team, this Director will support Arizona Cardinals staff at various locations, including the Tempe facilities and State Farm Stadium. The main responsibilities include:

  • Planning and management of enterprise systems, such as cloud applications, integrations, on-premises server integrations, HRIS, Fintech, ERP, Legal, and other related computing technologies
  • Managing cloud systems and applications, including Azure, AWS, GCP, and related integrations
  • Ensuring enterprise architecture models are maintained in a coherent manner, considering extensibility, scalability, cybersecurity, and quality

Primary Job Duties

The Director of Cloud and Systems Engineering will be responsible for:

  • Working with departments and business leaders to define strategic and tactical needs for technology-enabled business processes
  • Executing cloud engineering techniques and technologies related to systems architecture, migration, integration, and transformation
  • Managing the data systems team and providing leadership and support
  • Providing guidance on implementing controls to ensure data quality and security
  • Recommending product, component, and vendor selection as appropriate for specific projects

Qualifications/Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as computer science or information technology
  • Strong experience in cloud app development and systems engineering
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
  • Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles and cloud computing technologies
