What You'll Be Doing

As our iOS Mobile Lead Engineer, you'll be expected to:

  • Write scalable and well-tested code, ensuring system scalability and high availability
  • Own the mobile journey, taking end-to-end responsibility for our iOS applications and ensuring they remain robust, performant, and aligned with our high engineering standards
  • Expand our global footprint by leading localised deployments and facilitating seamless app releases across new regions
  • Build from the ground up by architecting and delivering new end-to-end features that bridge complex backend logic and refined user interfaces
  • Empower and mentor talent by managing a team of high-performing engineers, providing technical guidance, and coaching for continuous growth

  • Proven technical leadership skills, including experience guiding iOS teams and mentoring engineers
  • Strategic planning and execution expertise, partnering with Product and Engineering Managers to translate roadmaps into actionable milestones
  • A product-oriented mindset, strong collaboration skills with Design and Product teams, and a focus on user experience and business goals
  • Mastery of the iOS ecosystem, including Swift and SwiftUI, with a sophisticated understanding of mobile performance, state management, and modern concurrency
  • Architectural vision, experience designing modular, scalable, and testable app architectures that remain maintainable as the team and codebase grow
