The Role

As a Product Owner on our Sportsbook Product vertical, you'll play a pivotal role in driving the vision and development of products using agile best practices. With a primary focus on mobile applications, your expertise will help deliver cutting-edge features and functionalities that continuously enhance the betting experience. By leveraging AI and experimentation, you'll be instrumental in shaping the future of our sports betting platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive one Scrum team as the Product Owner
  • Provide vision and direction to the Agile development team throughout the project
  • Create requirements in the form of epics and stories
  • Manage the backlog and iteration planning process
  • Lead the planning of product release schedules and set expectations for the delivery of new functionalities
  • Mitigate impediments that could impact the release/sprint goals
  • Support the team and organization by using agile/scrum best practices and promoting agile values
  • Partner with product management and business stakeholders to create and maintain a product backlog prioritized according to business value or ROI
  • Collaborate with Product Analysts and AI teams to ensure product decisions are informed by evidence and experimentation

What You'll Bring

We're seeking an experienced Product Owner to join our esteemed Sportsbook Product team. As a dynamic individual, you'll bring a strong sense of ownership and pride in developing our products. With a proven track record of defining requirements that identify business challenges and outlining technical and business changes needed to address them, your expertise will be invaluable.

Ideal Candidate

  • At least 2 years of working experience as a Product Owner in a technological environment
  • Extensive experience working on mobile applications, particularly on iOS and Android platforms
  • Solid experience with Agile methodologies
  • Experience leveraging A/B testing, experimentation frameworks, and product analytics (e.g., GA4, Looker, or similar)
  • Proven ability to communicate clearly and concisely across technology and business teams
  • Familiarity with online sports betting products is an asset
  • Good understanding of technology, programming languages, and software architecture considered a plus
